Comparison of Network Speeds

Due to our large VoIP and streaming customer base, our network is optimised for speed and reliability. As such, you will notice a large increase in speed compared to companies that use just Tier 1 Providers.

The example below is TelecityRedbus's network whole only use Tier 1 providers, compared to ours which uses Tier 1's and our global peering network. This is doing a trace from an Eclipse ADSL line. The result will be similar from any ISP in the UK and much of Europe.

The first trace is to a C4L server and goes over our extensive peering agreements.

The second is to the example IP that TelecityRedbus use for speed comparison and they only use Tier1 providers in their network so it is noticalbly slower.
